U.S. Marines with Marine Fighter Attack Squadron (VMFA) 121, Marine Aircraft Group 12, 1st Marine Aircraft Wing, load a GBU-32 joint direct attack munition at Andersen Air Force Base, Guam, May 31, 2024. Marine All-Weather Fighter Attack Squadron (VMFA(AW)) 224, MAG-31, 2nd MAW, the "Fighting Bengals," are based out of Beaufort, South Carolina, and currently augment MAG-12 as a part of the Unit Deployment Program. VMFA(AW)-224 and VMFA-121 are training in Guam as part of the Aviation Training Relocation program to enhance interservice capabilities and to sustain high operational readiness in the Indo-Pacific.
