A U.S. Marine Corps F-35B Lightning II aircraft with Marine Fighter Attack Squadron (VMFA) 121, Marine Aircraft Group 12, 1st Marine Aircraft Wing, taxis the flight line at Andersen Air Force Base, Guam, June 5, 2024. Marine All-Weather Fighter Attack Squadron (VMFA(AW)) 224, MAG-31, 2nd MAW, the "Fighting Bengals," are based out of Beaufort, South Carolina, and currently augment MAG-12 as a part of the Unit Deployment Program. VMFA(AW)-224 and VMFA-121 are training in Guam as part of the Aviation Training Relocation program to enhance interservice capabilities and to sustain high operational readiness in the Indo-Pacific.
