Leaders with the 45th Infantry Brigade Combat Team (IBCT) held a rededication ceremony for the IBCT’s renovated command suite at the Norman Armed Forces Reserve Center in Norman, Oklahoma, May 24, 2024, to honor the legacy of the “Thunderbirds. The 45th IBCT traces its lineage to the 45th Infantry Division, which participated in multiple campaigns in World War II and the Korean War. The 45th IBCT command suite was redesigned with displays of campaign streamers acknowledging participation in World War II and Korea, as well as the Global War on Terror.
