NEW YORK (May 24, 2024) The amphibious assault ship USS Bataan (LHD 5) Commanding Officer Capt. Paul Burkhart receives a gift from Huntington Ingalls Industries at aFleet Week New York reception hosted by the New York Navy League, May 24. Fleet Week New York is a time-honored sea service celebration that allows citizens of New York City and the surrounding tri-state region to witness today’s maritime capabilities first-hand.
