U.S. Air Force Lt. Col. Kira Coffey, 36th Airlift Squadron commander, receives a gift following her final flight as the 36th AS commander at Yokota Air Base, Japan, May 9, 2024. The 36th AS is the only forward-based tactical airlift squadron in the Pacific. The squadron supports combat operations by providing responsive movement of personnel and equipment through aerial delivery and assault airland operations.
