Local base employees, heavy vehicle operators, evacuate their government vehicles to higher ground and monitor the situation after the Tsunami warning, Camp Foster, April 3, 2024. This day, Marine Corps Installations Pacific in Okinawa opened gates to over 1600 local residents who live in lower elevations to evacuate through the base to reach their higher ground destinations faster through Local Implementation Agreements MCIPAC and local Okinawa municipalities signed every year.
