United in Purpose: U.S. military chaplains from U.S. Africa Command, U.S. Army Southern European Task Force Africa (SETAF-AF), and U.S. Air Forces Africa, alongside Southern African Development Community (SADC) chaplains from Zambia, Malawi, Botswana, Namibia, and the Democratic Republic of the Congo, are joined by a dedicated public affairs officer and photographer against the majestic backdrop of Victoria Falls, known as “Mosi-oa-Tunya” or “the smoke that thunders.” This collective effort marks the culmination of a 5-day workshop aimed at enhancing spiritual readiness for military personnel and their families, fostering the exchange of best practices, and fortifying relations between the U.S. and SADC nations. Gathering amidst the splendor of Victoria Falls, this experience was truly enriching and memorable.
