AT SEA (April 11, 2024) The Arleigh Burke-class guided-missile destroyers USS Russell (DDG 59), front, and USS Howard (DDG 83) sail alongside USS Daniel Inouye (DDG 118) during a trilateral exercise, April 11, 2024. This trilateral exercise allowed maritime forces from Japan, the Republic of Korea, and U.S. to train together to enhance coordination on maritime domain awareness and other shared security interests. Daniel Inouye is part of the Theodore Roosevelt Carrier Strike Group deployed to the U.S. 7th Fleet area of operations in support of a free and open Indo-Pacific.
