(April 7, 2024) - Volunteers Adam Allex (left) and Nicolas Tarver (right) from U.S. Navy Strategic Systems Programs (SSP) attach balloons to 3-D rocket boosters in order to demonstrate Newton's Third Law of Motion during the Sea-Air-Space Science, Technology, Engineering, and Math (STEM) expo at the Gaylord National Hotel and Conference Center, Sunday. SSP's STEM learning activities connected young learners' proficiencies in STEM activities to elements of the real-world missions of commands like SSP.
