U.S. Air Force Lt. Gen. Stacey T. Hawkins, Air Force Sustainment Center commander, and British navy Vice Adm. Richard Thompson, Defence Equipment and Support director general air, sign a non-binding statement between AFSC and the U.K. Ministry of Defence March 22. The statement affirms common objectives to enhance strategic and tactical sustainability of jointly used aircraft components to improve readiness for the warfighter and reduce cost.
