In recognition of 78 years of service to the U.S. Navy, the Navy Exchange Service Command held a birthday celebration on Apr. 1, 2024. In keeping with naval tradition, retired Rear Adm. Bianchi, Chief Executive Officer, NEXCOM, along with Lt. j.g. Isabel Buzbee, executive assistant to NEXCOM’s Chief Executive Officer; Cleveland Rogers, Office Services Manager at NEXCOM; Cyndi Lamont, Vice President, Controller at NEXCOM; Omar Gutierrez, son of Carla Gutierrez, General Manager, Navy Gateway Inns and Suites, Little Creek, Va.; and Renée Broadnax, Diversity, Equity & Inclusion Specialist at NEXCOM cut the birthday cake. NEXCOM enables warfighter readiness and strengthens the Navy’s quality of life mission.
