SINGAPORE (March 13, 2024) – Commodore of Destroyer Squadron (DESRON) 7, Capt. Sean Lewis, presents awards to Sailors of Independence-variant littoral combat ship USS Mobile (LCS 26) after “Blue Crew’s” conclusion of a successful six-month deployment in the U.S. 7th Fleet Area during a port visit in Singapore, March 13. Mobile, part of DESRON 7, is on a rotational deployment operating in the U.S. 7th Fleet area of operations to enhance interoperability with Allies and partners and serve as a ready-response force in support of a free and open Indo-Pacific region.
