NAVAL AIR STATION SIGONELLA, Italy (March 2, 2024) - Vice Adm. Daniel “Undra” Cheever, Commander, Naval Air Forces, speaks to Sailors assigned to various commands stationed and detached to Naval Air Station (NAS) Sigonella, Italy, March 2, 2024. Cheever just completed visits with Helicopter Sea Combat Squadron (HSC) 28, Unmanned Patrol Squadron (VUP) 19, Aviation Intermediate Maintenance Detachment (AIMD), Commander, Task Force (CTF) 67 and Patrol Squadron (VP) 46. Cheever toured spaces and spoke with Sailors about improving work conditions to increase warfighting efficacy and participate in a ribbon-cutting ceremony for a new hangar opening.
