NAVAL AIR STATION NORTH ISLAND, Calif. (March 7, 2024) -- Vice Adm. Cheever speaks to junior officers, alongside Rear Adm. Doug Verissimo, Commander, Naval Air Force Atlantic, during the 2024 Junior Officer Training Symposium (JOTS) at Naval Air Station North Island, San Diego, Calif., March 6-7. JOTS provides a forum for Naval Aviation’s senior and junior leaders to exchange ideas and facilitate discussion on a range of topics including, enhancing individual and organizational standards, combat readiness, warfighting mentality, and culture within the Naval Aviation community. The symposium serves as one of many ways Naval Aviation establishes trust up and down the chain of command, ensuring we have a means for input and feedback.
