U.S. Army Corps of Engineers teammates attending the Proponent Sponsored Engineer Corps Training (PROSPECT) Water and the Watershed course toured the Sacramento Weir Widening Project on February 14, 2024. During their visit, Sean McNeil, USACE project manager for the Sacramento Weir Widening project, spoke about the widening project, which seeks to approximately double the width of the Sacramento Weir to help facilitate flood risk reduction and other water management.
