Cpl. Mike Carbajal, combat medic specialist with the 421st Medical Battalion-Multifunctional, climbs over an inverted wall during the 30th Medical Brigade Best Squad Competition at Franken Kaserne military base, Ansbach, Germany on Feb. 28, 2024. Participants were required to climb over the wall three times followed by moving five boxes over the wall then moving six 45-pound plates through the center of the obstacle. Events like these are used as a test of grit and toughness, foster readiness and esprit de corps, and are a fundamental part of the Brigade's method of building lethal, cohesive teams and expert leaders.
