U.S. Marine Corps Lance Cpl. Rashon Thomas, a combat engineer with Marine Wing Support Squadron (MWSS) 171, Marine Aircraft Group 12, and U.S. Army Pfc. Jann Waldo, a technical engineer with the 555th Engineer Brigade, work together to secure columns during Exercise Cobra Gold 2024 (CG24) at the Ban Nong Yai School, Chachoengsao Province, Kingdom of Thailand, Feb. 12, 2024. The Japan Ground Self-Defense Force, Royal Thai Navy, U.S. Army and U.S. Marine Corps worked together to construct a new multipurpose building for the school. Cobra Gold is a multilateral humanitarian exercise that plays a crucial role in strengthening ties with the Indo-Asia-Pacific region and increasing interoperability of partnered nations.
