Service members from Combined Joint Task Force - Horn of Africa, 11th Marine Expeditionary Unit and USS Tarawa provided medical and dental care for villagers of Goubetto, Djibouti, during a Medical Civil Action Project. Sgt. 1st Class Marites R. Cabreza, a medic assigned to 354th Civil Affairs Brigade Special Functioning Team, CJTF-HOA, is a Army reservist from Yonkers, N.Y., in processes local Djiboutian villagers who are seeking medical care. Military doctors and medics work with local Djiboutian healthcare officials to provide basic medical and dental care. The two-day MEDCAP treated more then 560 patients. The MEDCAP is scheduled for a total of six days, servicing a total of three villages. The military team spends two days in each village before moving onto the next one.
