NAVAL BASE CORONADO (Feb. 15, 2024) Sailors assigned to Unmanned Surface Vessel Squadron 3 (USVRON 3) watch as one of the squadron's new Global Autonomous Reconnaissance Crafts (GARCs) is remotely controlled while navigating San Diego Bay. The 16-foot vessels built by Maritime Applied Physics Corporation enable research, testing, and operations that will allow integration throughout the surface, expeditionary, and joint maritime forces.
