Students from Matthew C. Perry Primary School present poems during the 2024 Mikan Presentation at Marine Corps Air Station Iwakuni, Japan, Feb. 6, 2024. This annual ceremony allows Suo-Oshima farmers and distributors to give students mikans, a winter seasonal fruit and symbol of the island, to show appreciation and strengthen the relationship between the communities.
