A U.S. Marine with (unit) fires a Gun Aircraft Unit 17/A spins while shooting on a UH-1Y Venom assigned to Marine Light Attack Helicopter Squadron (HMLA) 267, Marine Aircraft Group 39, 3rd Marine Aircraft Wing, during Integrated Training Exercise 2-24 at Camp Wilson, Marine Corps Air Ground Combat Center Twentynine Palms, California, Feb. 9, 2024. HMLA-267 was tasked to execute a series of different mission sets, centered around close air support, to support Marines on the ground in a simulated combat environment.
