Spc. Tommy Kesterson, a native of Duisburg, Tenn., a all wheeled vehicle mechanic with 2nd Platoon, 2nd Transportation Company, out of Fort Riley, Kansas, and Spc. Elliot Vasquez, a native of Sebastian, Texas, and a wheeled vehicle mechanic with 2nd Plt., 2nd Trans. Co. work together on engines in an open bay motor pool March 26. "Its long days and hot," said Kesterson. Kesterson was a mechanic at a GMC/Cadillac dealership and is one test away from earning his master mechanic certification, but he joined the Army for stability and travel. "I never thought I'd get to travel here," said Kesterson. "I lucked out."
