Lt. Col. William Depue, Commanding Officer of Marine Medium Helicopter Squadron 265 gives a brief on the MV-22 Osprey to The Republic of Korea Marine Corps Commandant Lt. Gen. Ho Yeon Lee and his staff, Marine Corps Air Station Futenma, Okinawa, Japan, Jan. 29, 2013. The MV-22 combines the vertical capability of a helicopter with a speed and range of a fixed- wing aircraft capable of high speed, high- altitude flight. The aircraft significantly strengthens III MEF's ability to provide for the defense of Japan, perform humanitarian assistance and disaster relief operations, and fulfill other alliance roles within the Pacific Rim.
