Col. Robert L. Simmons, 433rd Aerospace Medicine Squadron commander, addresses an audience of friends, family and Airmen after assuming command at a ceremony held at Joint Base San Antonio-Lackland, Texas, Feb. 4, 2024. The peacetime mission of the 433rd AMDS is to medically qualify 433rd Airlift Wing airmen for worldwide duty through healthy promotion and delivery of superior quality health readiness.
