Chargé d’Affaires at the U.S. Embassy in Tirana David Wisner joined Albanian Defense Minister Niko Peleshi, Chief of Defense Major General Arben Kingji, Air Force Chief Brigadier General Ferdinant Dimo, and the dedicated pilots and mechanics of the Albanian Armed Forces for the arrival of Albania's two state-of-the-art UH-60 Black Hawk helicopters Jan. 16, 2024. The helicopters will enable the military to conduct medical evacuations, search and rescue, and also fight forest fires and provide support for NATO operations.
