Jackson, a member of the Fort Drum Culinary Arts Team, has been training with the team since last November in preparation for the 48th Joint Culinary Training Event at Fort Gregg-Adams, Virginia, where they will compete in categories such as Armed Forces Chef of the Year, Student Team of the Year, Nutritional Hot Food Challenge and Pastry Chef of the Year.
