NAVAL AIR STATION SIGONELLA, Italy (Nov. 24, 2023) – Cmdr. Kevin Harrington, Commanding Officer of Patrol Squadron (VP) 46, the ‘Grey Knights,’ sits in the flight deck of a Polish Navy M28 Bryza 1R at Naval Air Station (NAS) Sigonella, Italy, Nov. 24. 2023. Harrington was listening to Polish Capt. Radosław Kukuła (not pictured) about the rewards and challenges of flying the aircraft. VP-46 came to visit 30th Kaszubski Air Squadron of the Polish Navy, currently deployed to NAS Sigonella, to discuss system capabilities, mission and partnership. VP-46 is currently deployed to the U.S. 6th Fleet area of operation in support of naval operations to maintain maritime security and stability, deter aggression and defend U.S., allied and partner interests.
