YOKOSUKA, Japan (December 31, 2023) - Commander, Fleet Activities Yokosuka base community members join their Japanese hosts at Yokosuka Countdown 2024 in Verny Park just outside the installation's main gate Sunday, December 31, 2023. The seven-hour party hosted by the City of Yokosuka included live music, stage performances, a food park and was highlighted by illuminated Japan Maritime Self-Defense Force ships sounding their steam whistles welcoming the start of 2024.
