The Norwegian Foot March started at midnight on Dec. 19 and consists of an 18.6-mile ruck where participants are required to wear a 24-pound pack. Men and women participating need to complete the ruck within a certain time limit depending on gender and age. Airmen who completed the Norwegian Foot March within their allotted time limits earned the official Norwegian Foot March badge which they are authorized to wear in their service dress uniform.
