U.S. Marine Corps Cpl. Caleb Williams is pinned with the U.S. Navy and Marine Corps Commendation Medal during a ceremony on Marine Corps Base Hawaii, Dec. 8, 2023. The ceremony was to award Williams, a native of Salisbury, N.C. and an infantry rifleman with 3d Littoral Combat Team, 3d Marine Littoral Regiment, 3d Marine Division, for heroic actions that saved the life of a fellow Marine while on liberty.
