Yeoman 1st Class Chad White, stationed aboard the amphibious command ship USS Mount Whitney (LCC 20), verifies his personal information prior to beginning the navy-wide chief petty officer advancement exam. Mount Whitney, homeported in Gaeta, Italy, is the U.S. 6th Fleet flagship and operates with a combined crew of U.S. Sailors and MSC civil service mariners.
