SIMI VALLEY, CA (Dec. 2, 2023) Lew de Lecia, center, tour guide at the Ronald Reagan Presidential Library & Museum, presents a statue of First Lady Nancy Reagan to Sailors assigned to the U.S. Navy’s only forward-deployed aircraft carrier, USS Ronald Reagan (CVN 76), during their visit to Simi Valley, California, for the Reagan National Defense Forum (RNDF), Dec. 2. During the visit, Reagan Sailors also toured Young America’s Foundation Reagan Ranch Center and the Rancho Del Cielo, President Reagan’s previous vacation home, and attended the RNDF in order to learn more about the ship’s namesake and his legacy.
