The U.S. Army Corps of Engineers - Far East District is currently constructing 18 3rd generation Hard Aircraft Structures (HAS) on Kunsan Air Base, South Korea. USACE completed 20 of the shelters in 2020 for phases one through three of the project at the base. The next 18, phases three through six, will also provide protection for the installation's fighter jets and provide a safe working environment for Airmen. (U.S. Army photo by Rachel Napolitan)
