U.S. Air National Guard Airmen assigned to the 146th Airlift Wing (146 AW) hold an assumption of command ceremony to welcome Col. Karen Bogdan as the new Maintenance Group (MXG) Commander and Maj. Lauren Brizuela as the new Maintenance Squadron (MSX) Commander at Channel Islands Air National Guard Station, Port Hueneme, California, Nov. 4, 2023. During the ceremony, Col. Christopher Dougherty, commander of the 146AW, presided over the assumption of command for Bogdan. Upon assuming command of the MXG, Bogdon then acknowledged Brizuela as the new MXS commander.
