Norfolk, Va. (Sep. 26, 2023) U.S. Navy explosive ordnance (EOD) technicians assigned to Explosive Ordnance Disposal Mobile Unit 12 (EODMU 12) conduct underwater mine countermeasures (UMCM) at Joint Expeditionary Base Little Creek-Fort Story. The Sailors are completing their Final Evaluation Problem (FEP), an assessed training event featuring complex scenarios that test a team’s operating proficiency. EODMU 12 provides skilled, capable, and combat-ready deployable Navy EOD forces to detect, locate, and render safe explosive threats in support a range of operations.
