U.S. Marine Corps Sgt. Richard Mounts, the assistant drum major with the 1st Marine Division Band, stands ready for the opening ceremony of the 47th annual Longs Peak Scottish-Irish Highland Festival in Estes Park, Colorado, Sept. 10, 2023. The festival celebrates Scottish and Irish heritage through a variety of traditional athletic games, jousting competitions, music and dancing.
