Boston (Sept. 20, 2023) – Personnel Specialist 3rd Class Tamra Rodriguez-Sanchez, assigned to the aircraft carrier, Pre-Commissioning Unit (PCU) John F. Kennedy’s (CVN 79) supply department, examines historical artifacts in the John F. Kennedy Presidential Library and Museum during a trip to the Boston area. John F. Kennedy's annual namesake visit enhances the public's awareness of the U.S. Navy and builds a strong connection with the hometown of the ship's namesake. John F. Kennedy is the second Ford-class aircraft carrier and is under construction at HII’s Newport News Shipbuilding (NNS) division in Newport News, Virginia.
