Members of the 552nd Air Control Wing at Tinker Air Force Base crewed the final E-3 Sentry Airborne Warning and Control System aircraft to be retired this year September 21, 2023. E-3 tail number 83-0009 is the 12th aircraft that is retiring to the 309th Aerospace Maintenance and Regeneration Group located at Davis-Monthan Air Force Base in Tucson, Arizona. The divestment of 13 E-3 aircraft is part of the FY23 President's Budget Request. The 13th aircraft will remain at Tinker AFB for a static display. (Air Force photo by Kimberly Woodruff)
