On Sep 11, 2023, U.S. Soldiers from the 25th Combat Aviation Brigade, 25th Infantry Division, teamed up with the 411th Engineer Battalion, 9th Mission Support Command, to transport Army National Guard Soldiers and supplies to the Army National Guard Armory in Kihei, Hawaii, in support of Joint Task Force 50.
In support of Maui County authorities, Joint Task Force 50 (JTF-50), composed of the Hawaii Army and Air National Guard, U.S. Army Active Duty, and U.S. Army Reserve, and the U.S. Navy, is dedicated to the safety and recovery of affected Maui residents, coordinating with local first responders and adhering strictly to local, state, and federal guidelines and laws.
