Jet fuel storage tanks are shown at MacDill Air Force Base, Florida, Aug. 22, 2023. The tanks can store approximately 6.2 million gallons of Jet A fuel, which is used to fuel MacDill’s KC-135 Stratotanker aircraft. The overflow reserve is constructed with high standards to ensure that in case of an emergency where a tank is compromised any spill can be contained and maintained.
