Vandi Leheny, the mission manager of the Debris Planning and Response Team, participates in a training and planning session for the Hawai'i wildfires response at the Fort Shafter Area Construction Branch Office Aug. 29. Following the announcement earlier in the day by the State of Hawai'i and Maui County that USACE would lead Phase 2 personal property debris removal in Maui, she and members of the team are now refining planning for the mission’s execution.
