At the Fort Shafter Area Construction Branch Office Aug. 29, Anthony "Tony" Ruby, an environmental engineer, and Brandon Ford, a National Environmental Policy Act specialist, both from the Fort Worth District and members of the Debris Planning and Response Team, review information related to the debris mission for the Hawai'i wildfires response. Following the announcement earlier in the day by the State of Hawai'i and Maui County that USACE would lead Phase 2 personal property debris removal in Maui, they and other members of the team are now refining planning for the mission’s execution. USACE personnel involved in the response are committed to leveraging their experience, resources, and outreach to help the affected Maui communities heal and recover. (U.S. Army photo by Joshua Voda)
