Polish Uniformed students from the Staff Sgt. M. Ollis Junior Training Corps hold the American and Polish flags during Catholic Mass at the Field Cathedral of the Polish Army, in Warsaw, Poland, Aug. 28, 2023. The ceremony, which recognized the 10th Anniversary of the heroic actions and sacrifice of Staff Sgt. Michael Ollis, was also attended by U.S. Army Soldiers from 10th Mountain Division, U.S. Army Reserve Soldiers from 353rd Civil Affairs Command, and Polish representatives. In 2013, while deployed to Afghanistan, Ollis sacrificed his own life to save the life of a Polish Army officer, Lt. Karol Cierpica. (U.S. Army photo by Spc. Devin Klecan)
