Soldiers with the 1st Armored Division, III Armored Corps engage in the M240 Transition Fire, M240 machine gun qualification Aug 17, 2023 on Fort Campbell, Kentucky. The M240 is a belt-fed, air-cooled, gas-operated, fully automatic machine gun that fires from the open bolt position.
