Lt. Gen. David Fadok, commander of The Air University and Tom Brokaw, NBC journalist, present Lt. Col. Tadd Sholtis, a public affairs officer, a doctor's degree in Military Strategy from Air University Monday, Nov. 14, 2011, at Squadron Officer College at Maxwell Air Force Base, Ala. This is the first Air University Doctor of Philosophy in Military Strategy awarded. Lt. Col. Sholtis did his strategic internship on the staff of the Commander, International Security Assistance Forces, in Afghanistan. His dissertation deals with strategy as public discourse. Lt. Col.
