Jessica Scarcella-Spanton (M), who represents the 23rd District covering parts of Staten Island, southern Brooklyn, and the garrison, on Friday, Aug. 11, 2023, in the garrison headquarters conference room. During the meeting, Scarcella-Spanton, chairwoman of the state Senate Committee on Veterans, Homeland Security and Military Affairs, received an overview of the base from Jacobs and Hill.
