U.S. Navy Lt. Zach Simms and U.S. Air Force Maj. Jasmine Sims, Pacific Air Forces, places an American flag and handmade lei at the top, Dec. 2, 2012, at the National Cemetery of the Pacific at Punchbowl in Honolulu. The Simms saluted each spot they placed a flag to honor the sacrifice of the World War II airmen. Ten volunteers used a roster to identify the locations at the cemetery and placed 92 flags.
