Two soldiers assigned to the 1-7 Cav, 1st BCT, 1st Cav. Div., receive plastic utensils with their team number written on them as proof they reached the turn-around point of a commemorative 7.1- mile ruck competition, here, Nov. 16. The competition was hosted to commemorate the anniversary and memory of the veterans of the Battle of the Ia Drang Valley, Vietnam, which was fought between American and North Vietnamese forces in 1965.
