“Go and get after it,” said Sanders when asked for advice for other enlisted Marines. “It’s about the warfighter mentality, just go do it. I’m a busy body so when someone asks, ‘Hey who wants to do this?’ I always respond with, ‘I’ll go do it.’ Why? Because I don’t want to sit still and I want to get after it.”
Sanders participated in exercise Mjolnir Strike 3-23 for proficiency training and evaluation for Joint Terminal Attack Controllers. Exercise Mjolnir Strike 3-23 incorporates multiple fire support capabilities, such as ground-based indirect fires and close air support.
