    2nd Brigade Combat Team, 82nd Airborne Division

    Spc. Nahtan Freeman, an artilleryman assigned to 2nd Battalion, 319th Airborne Field Artillery Regiment, 2nd Brigade Combat Team, 82nd Airborne Division, loosens the tire on a Howitzer after firing live rounds during the live fire portion of the Division Best Artillery competition, Nov. 15. This contest was part of the Division’s week-long Best of the Best competition, which tested forward observers and artillerymen in their respective areas of expertise. The annual event gives the Paratroopers an opportunity to showcase their skills, builds their confidence in their teammates and gives the winners bragging rights for the next year.
